Dear Caribe Resort Owners,
We wanted to extend a big thank you to everyone that donated to Julie & Jimmy Bellerose’s GoFundMe for their granddaughter Dayna’s surgery. The surgery went well and they are back home. We cannot thank everyone enough for their support during this and it is greatly appreciated.
Annual Tree Lighting
Please join us at 5pm on December 12th in the B atrium lobby for our annual tree lighting ceremony. We’re also proud to announce our “Caribe Carolers” will be singing a few beloved christmas songs during this event. We hope to see everyone there!
Annual Food Drive
We have partnered with the Orange Beach Presbyterian church to fill the local food pantries for those in need. Drop off nonperishable items and unopened food in the designated boxes in each of our lobbies, and we will take care of the rest!
Building Elevators
The association will be budgeting to rebuild the building elevators in the future. We anticipate replacing two elevators per year starting in the B Building.
Rules & Regulations Reminders
- No type of glass tables/glass furniture are allowed on unit balconies. There is a $500 fine for this violation.
- The front owner’s gate is an automated system. Absolutely no piggybacking is allowed and any vehicles that cause damage to the gate will be billed accordingly.
- No type of lighting can be displayed on any unit balcony. An exception has been made to allow Christmas lights and these can be displayed from Thanksgiving to January 15th. This new policy was voted on and approved by the Board of Directors at the Annual Homeowners Meeting. Security will enforce this policy.
- No type of grill that has an ignitor is allowed on any unit balcony. Charcoal, pellet, gas and smokers are all prohibited. Only electric grills are allowed on unit balconies.
Projects in Progress
- We are in the process of installing a lightning system on the property which includes both audio alarms and signage. This system will notify pool occupants of lightning within a certain mileage from the property. We will evacuate the pools for everyone’s safety when this occurs.
- The replacement lazy river deck elevator for C building is in the process of being installed. The D lazy river elevator will be started once the C lazy river elevator installation is completed. We anticipate full completion in Spring of 2026.
- New wheelchair lifts have been ordered for all three indoor pools. Installation will take place once these come in.
- The lazy river is currently closed for leak repairs and the upper deck pools are closed for replastering. The tiled spillover areas of the pools are also being repaired where tiles have come off.
- The elevator landings located on the parking garage level of each building have been redone with a new textured coating. Previously we have painted these landings each year. This new coating now offers a more permanent enhancement.
Completed Projects:
- Permanent shoring has been installed for the upper and lower parking garage sections of C & D. These areas will be repainted once concrete has cured more.
- The D indoor pool has been replastered and repainted along with the copings.
- Replastering of the outdoor tiered pools of B Building as well as the west outdoor hot tub has been completed.
As a reminder our next Annual Homeowners Association meeting will be held March 21st, 2026.
