Dear Caribe Resort Owners,
We are very excited to announce that we have extended our Owner Relations team! Andrea Soars is joining our current representatives to complete our owner team. Andrea started working with our front desk team in 2020 and is excited to build a more personal relationship with our owners. Andrea along with Jill and Whitney are available to assist with your needs!
Extending many Congratulations to Stan Szapiel, our General Manager, on acquiring the active license as the Qualified Broker for the Caribe Realty team. Stan continues to provide a wonderful service to all involved with the Resort. Robyn Phillips, previously the front desk manager, has come on-board as our new Rental Director. Robyn has many years of experience working in hospitality and will be an asset to the team.
The staff on property have been hard at work continuing with Sally repairs and monitoring our Spring Break crowds. We want to applaud Security for all their hard work during this season to ensure our property remains safe and pleasant. The painting crew is working their way across the B building. The painting process began with painting walls and ceilings from the 16 stack and they have made way to the 09 stack. The balcony floors are beginning to be repainted for B tower as well.
The tennis courts have been undergoing a full renovation including the addition of 2 pickle-ball courts. This process was slightly prolonged due to inclement weather conditions. We anticipate this project to be completed within the next two weeks. Plans for the proposed fence on the East side of D building are underway and material will be installed in time for the summer season. This will help with outside boaters parking on the bulkhead and walking onto property. Carpet for the D Tower is being ordered and installation will begin as soon as delivery occurs.
The Hurricane Sally claim is still being negotiated and we hope to begin final negotiations on certain elements of the claim.
Summer is quickly approaching, and we are excited for another wonderful season here at the Resort! We will continue to share updates as projects improve across property.
