Elevator Modernization Schedule

The board approved the modernization plan for the B tower elevators.  This fall and winter two of the four elevators will undergo complete modernization to both bring them up to current standards and improve performance.  The board also committed to modernizing the other two elevators in B tower during the fall and winter of 2027.  The 2026 assessment has provided the funds for this to take place.  After the first of the year, the D Lazy River elevator will undergo a complete modernization. This has already been funded and should take much less time to complete then the C Lazy River elevator.    

 

Unit Remodels and Contractors

For any unit owner planning to undertake remodeling work, please notify our Maintenance Department in advance and ensure that all contractors are reviewed and approved by our maintenance team before work begins. This helps ensure that all work is completed properly and in accordance with building standards. Unit owners will be held responsible for any damages or issues affecting other units that result from improper or unauthorized work. 

 

Flood Policy Renewal Dates

The following dates are when each buildings flood policies renew:

B Building: April 1st, 2026

C Building: August 23rd, 2026

D Building: June 30th, 2026

 

Pool Loungers

We are still selling the old pool loungers at $25 per lounger. We will offer a bulk discount at $20 per lounger for those who purchase 10 or more. Please contact your owner relations representative if you’d like to purchase one or more and these can be paid by cash or check made payable to Caribe Owners Association. This can be done in the sales office located in the B Building which is open from 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.

 

Caribbean Sunset Luau

Cobalt has decided to end the Caribbean Sunset Luaus’ and these will no longer be held. 

 

Cabana Rentals

The Cabanas, Tiki Bar and Coffee Shop are open for the season. If you have not had the opportunity to utilize one of the cabanas, you’re able to book a cabana on www.cariberesort.com. Make sure to grab a coffee the next time you’re on property!

 

As a reminder our next Annual Homeowners Association meeting will be held March 20th, 2027.
