Dear Caribe Resort Owners,

We’re excited to announce that Jill Alford (C building Representative), has given birth to a beautiful baby girl on January 7th. Jill has started her maternity leave and will return mid-March. During her absence both B & D building representatives (Hayli & Caleb) will be able to fully assist. Her phones will be rolled and emails forwarded to both representatives.

Working Hours Adjustment

The Board of Directors have approved for a temporary variance to common area working hours. Until further notice, the hours to work (noise) will be extended to 7am-7pm, 7 days a week. This will give extra time to complete the lazy river deck renovation.

Upper Pool Deck & Lazy River Closure

The upper pool deck on the South-side of C & D tower will be closed until further notice. This includes the mini golf, pool area, and the lazy river. The lazy river and pool area will be closed while undergoing support and decking repairs. The final design of the lazy river deck is still in progress and it is hoped to share the finalized design by the annual owner’s meeting.

Mini Golf

The mini golf installation is set to begin on January 16th. We foresee a two-three week installation process. Workers will be present weekly to install the new greens.

Building Painting Project

The painting crews have been working on the caulking of the outer window frames. The crews are doing their best to work around occupancy of the units as each unit has to be accessed via the interior door for this stage of the paint project. They have currently completed the B Building penthouse and 12th levels and are in the process of working on the 11th, 10th, 9th & 8th levels. 

Projects in Progress:

  • The C indoor pool dehumidification system is anticipated to arrive by the end of February and installation will take place as soon as it arrives.
  • The B outdoor pool replastering is still in progress and is anticipated to be completed by the end of the month along with rebuilding the B outdoor slide.

Annual Homeowner Meeting

On Friday, February 17, 2023 a welcome reception for the annual meeting will be held from 5pm-7pm in the D-100 space. The Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 in the D100 space at 1pm. Lunch will be served beginning at noon. If you are interested in running for the board, please notify your owner relations representative for an application.
