Dear Caribe Resort Owners,
Spring Break Wristband Policy
This Spring Break season we will be implementing a colored wristband system for owners and guests on property similar to the system we used last year. This system has been proven effective in preventing unwanted visitors from entering the property.
Any owner or guest that will be staying on property between Friday, March 21st through Sunday, April 27th will be required to wear a wristband during their stay. Children aged 5 and under will not be required to wear a wristband. Please provide proof of ownership to the front desk in the B tower to receive the needed wristbands for the duration of your stay.
Any guests invited to a rental/owner’s property can receive a daily wristband from the gatehouse when called in by an adult occupant from a unit phone. Guests coming on property to a rental unit will be limited to 4 guests per unit per day. Any invited guest without a wristband will be escorted off property.
Parking Garage Repairs
Temporary shoring is in place for the upper and lower parking garage sections of C & D.
Crews have started work on these areas and we have temporarily closed the upper deck pools and certain areas of the parking garage for this work.
Cabana Rentals
The cabanas and tiki bar on the lazy river deck will reopen Saturday, March 15th. If you have not had the opportunity to book a cabana rental, you’re able to book a cabana on www.cariberesort.com and these are available to rent until October 31st, 2025. Book yours today!
Coffee Shop
The coffee shop in D Building is open from 7am-6pm daily. Be sure to grab an early morning coffee and enjoy an assortment of pastries and lunch offerings while you’re here!
Food Drive
We have partnered with the Orange Beach Presbyterian church to fill the local food pantries for those in need. Drop off nonperishable items and unopened food in the designated boxes in each of our lobbies up until March 15th, and we will take care of the rest!
Projects in Progress
- The fountain at the front of the property is currently under service as we await for parts to arrive.
- The corridor between the C & D indoor pools will be temporarily closed for various periods of time for floor repairs as well as to the C and D lazy river elevator landings.
- The C indoor pool is currently closed for leak repairs and will remain closed for replastering.
- Tile repairs will be made to the C & D outdoor pool area later this month.
- The tiki huts around property are being redone.
Annual Homeowners Meeting
The 24th Annual Caribe Resort Homeowners Association Meeting will take place on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, at 1:00pm in the D100 Meeting Space. Lunch will be served starting at 12pm.
On Friday, March 14th, 2025, from 5pm – 7pm a welcome reception will be held at the newly renovated lazy river deck (weather permitting).
We anticipate the meeting will have full capacity, however, we will also be live streaming the meeting on the owner website. A full notification by mail was sent out on February 26th, 2025. The mail-out will include an official meeting notice, 2025 proposed budget, full agenda, board member and candidate biographies and a proxy form.
The current board members are Larry Wireman, Rick Legendre, Lester Boihem and John Evans. Joe Mendola has resigned. We currently have three candidates running for the Board including Michael Waldheim, Mark Taupeka and Jimmy McClain.
If you have any questions for the Board, please submit them to [email protected] prior to the meeting and they will be addressed.
The Board strongly urges you to send your proxies in so that we can establish a 51% voting quorum. Each year, we struggle and expense immense effort and time to collect these in advance. If you send your proxy in but attend the meeting, your proxy will be given back to you upon entering the meeting.
