Dear Caribe Resort Owners,

C & D Upper Outdoor Pools Closure

Work is currently underway on the upper level outdoor pools, including replastering and renovation to the coping, spillways and tile. We anticipate that this will be completed within the next 2-3 weeks, labor and weather permitting. 

Owner’s Gate Automated System

We’re happy to announce an upgrade to the Owners gate entry lane. This touch free system will operate by chip decals similar to the Orange Beach Toll Bridge system. Simply drive up and the gate will open by reading the decal. Absolutely no piggybacking will be allowed.

We have received the decals and the hardware has been installed. Decals are available to be picked up in our sales office starting Monday, February 5th. Each unit will receive two chipped decals and any additional decals needed will be available for purchase in the sales office Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm at $25 per additional decal. These can be purchased by the deeded owner via cash or check, made out to the Caribe Owners Association.  

Spring Break Wristbands

This Spring Break season we will be implementing colored wristbands for guests and owners on property. Upon arrival on property, we will have all guests directed to the front desk in the B tower. Please provide proof of ownership or a reservation confirmation. Any guests invited to a rental/owner’s property can receive a daily wristband from the gatehouse when called in by an adult occupant from a unit phone. Guests coming on property to a rental unit will be limited to 4 guests per unit per day. Any invited guest without a wristband will be escorted off property.

Projects in Progress

  • The lazy river has been drained to repair leaks. We anticipate that this will be completed within a couple weeks, weather permitting.
  • The C indoor pool wheelchair lift is currently being installed
  • Larry Wireman will begin improvements to the east overflow parking lot next to the D tower. This area will be expanded and these improvements will be taking place over the next several weeks.
  • Crews are still in the process of installing for the new cabanas and tiki bar area. The tiki bar will not begin service until Spring of 2024.
  • The renovation of the C & D lower outdoor pool will still need coping repairs and paint on the knee walls around the pool.
  • The atrium HVAC unit for the D building has been installed and hook up is almost completed.
  • Contractors have completed the resealing of the skylights in the B tower atrium and will soon begin C tower.
  • Floor repairs to the C and D lazy river elevator landings and the lower corridor C/D indoor pools will begin the first week of February.

Events on Property

  • Snowbird activities have begun as of January 9th. Please stop by the front desk to receive a wristband if you are interested in attending any of these activities.  All Caribe Resort owners can participate at no charge. Funding for these events are sponsored by Caribe Realty Inc.
  • On Friday, March 15, 2024, a welcome reception for the annual meeting will be held from 5pm-7pm on the newly renovated lazy river deck (weather permitting).
  • The Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the D100 space at 1pm. Lunch will be served beginning at noon.
