Dear Caribe Resort Owners,

C & D Upper Outdoor Pools Closure

As of December 18th, work began on the upper level outdoor pools for replastering and renovation to the coping, spillways and tile. We anticipate that this will be completed within the next 2-3 weeks, labor and weather permitting. 

Owner’s Gate Automated System

We’re happy to announce an upgrade to the Owners gate entry lane. This touch free system will operate by chip decals similar to the Orange Beach Toll Bridge system. Simply drive up and the gate will open by reading the decal. Absolutely no piggybacking will be allowed.

Each owner will receive two chipped decals and any additional decals needed will be available for purchase in the sales office Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm at $25 per additional decal. These can be purchased by cash or check, made out to the Caribe Owners Association.  We have received the decals and hardware and are currently in the process of installing this. Once completed, we will send a notice to all owners.

Projects in Progress

  • As of January 2nd, the lazy river has been drained to repair leaks. We anticipate that this will be completed within a week, weather permitting.
  • New wheelchair lifts have been ordered for the C & D indoor pools and we’ll begin installation of these once they’ve arrived.
  • Larry Wireman will begin improvements to the east overflow parking lot next to the D tower. This area will be expanded and these improvements will be taking place over the next several weeks.
  • Crews are still in the process of installation for the new cabanas and tiki bar area. The tiki bar will not begin service until Spring of 2024.
  • The renovation of the C & D lower outdoor pool will still need coping repairs and paint on the knee walls around the pool.
  • Major HVAC unit for the D building has been installed and hook up is almost completed.
  • Glass Inc. has completed the resealing of the skylights in the B tower atrium and will soon begin C tower.

Completed Projects

  • The lightning rod grid repair has been completed in all three towers.
  • The renovation of the C & D indoor corridor pool bathrooms has been completed.

Events on Property

  • Snowbird activities will begin January 9th. Please stop by the front desk to receive a wristband if you are interested in attending any of these activities.  All Caribe Resort owners can participate at no charge.  Funding for these events are sponsored by Caribe Realty Inc.
  • On Friday, March 15, 2024, a welcome reception for the annual meeting will be held from 5pm-7pm on the newly renovated lazy river deck (weather permitting).
  • The Annual Meeting will be held Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the D100 space at 1pm. Lunch will be served beginning at noon.
