Dear Caribe Resort Owners,
We are continuing our efforts and progress on the boat dock areas. Crews are steadily working and we hope to have a limited opening very soon. The tiki hut repairs are moving along and we have 10 of our 23 huts repaired from Hurricane Sally. We are trying to complete the tiki huts that can be done with little impact to guests and owners during our busy season.
Along with our repair progress we have made some fantastic upgrades to our facility. The RFID key lock system install was a seamless transition and we are excited for the capabilities it has to offer. We have purchased a new property wide sound and music system to be installed and are in the final negotiations for a new entry gate system.
We are continuing our efforts to employ staff at the resort. Along with most businesses in our community we have been greatly affected by the labor shortage. Our management team has been expanding benefits and advertisements to try to gain staffing. If any of our owners have any employee referrals they would be greatly appreciated.
Lastly, we are still in negotiation with the insurance company for the Hurricane Sally claim. The claims have been submitted and we are seeking a favorable outcome. We understand that several owners have HVAC claims and as soon as the claim is settled we will be in touch.  We thank our owners for the continued support and wishing everyone a wonderful summer in paradise !
