Dear Caribe Resort Owners,
Property Update
Our staff is busy getting caught up on projects now that we have entered the slower season here at the resort.
- The carpet in the D building atrium will be getting installed beginning in September as to not be a disruption while we are heavily occupied.
- The B building pool will be getting resurfaced in September along with tile replacement and leak repairs being fixed.
- Mid-August we will be replacing two 20-ton HVAC units on B rooftop in addition to new smoke evac unit fans being replaced on all three towers.
As we continue to maneuver into the off season, you will continue to see projects across property beginning as well as annual maintenance (e.g., pressure washing and painting.) Our owner relations representatives will be posting updates as they are received.
Hurricane Sally Claim
Our board members are still in final negotiations with the insurance adjusters for the final settlement. We are hopeful for a positive outcome. The board has been back and forth on proposed settlement amounts. Most recently the board has not accepted the insurance company’s most recent offer amount. As soon as we have a resolution, we will update here.
Paint Project Update for D Building
The building exterior paint project has progressed to the D building. The contractors have the swing stages out and are beginning with the 09, 10, 11, and 12 stacks for ceilings and walls to be painted. Progress updates will continue, and any questions can be addressed by your owner relations representative.
Once the D building is completed crews will maneuver back to the B building to begin the painting of all railings, window frames, and caulking. Painters will likely access units from interior corridors.
Key Authorization Forms
All owners should have received a key authorization form to be filled out from their owner relations representative. If you did not receive a form, please contact your representative so we can be sure we have the most up to date information listed for you. If you do not wish to change or update any information, please respond to the email stating there are no updates at this time. Our team wants to ensure that all of our information gets updated as we prepare for the 2023 season.
Please be sure to put February 18, 2023 on your calendar for the annual homeowner’s association meeting. The meeting will be held in the D100 space that Saturday. If you are interested in running for the board, please notify your owner relations representative.
